Fourth-generation Micromaster frequency inverters have become a permanent fixture on the market. Though they are now making way for the more modern Sinamics series, they remain available and continue to be a popular item among many conservative clients.
However, we have to accept that this series will be retired in the near future. Where possible, you should now be transitioning to the Sinamics series. We will be happy to assist you in selecting a suitable replacement for your favourite Micromaster.
Simple inverters for outputs ranging from 0.12 kW to 11 kW. When it comes to three-phase powered inverters, this is the cheapest solution, and is suitable wherever vector control is not required. Typically, they are appropriate for drives for pumps, fans and conveyors, as well as other dynamically non-demanding applications.
This series of inverters is very reasonably priced and has features that can be used to control pumps and fans. Examples include pump cascade control and inverter bypassing when the drive is operating at rated speed.
These vector-control drives are the best-equipped Siemens inverters for standard drives.
